We Miss - Brandon Jenkins
We miss Red Dirt Legend - Brandon Jenkins. The gentle giant passed away on March 2, 2018, after complications to replace an aortic valve. Brandon was a friend and mentor to many of the Red Dirt and Texas musicians touring today. He was a supporter and advocate of the Red Dirt Relief Fund, a non-profit organization that supports musicians from the local Texas/Oklahoma area who face financial hardship. Jenkins had a string of records dating back to 1996 with his last album, Tail Lights in a Boomtown released just a short time before his passing. Well known hits included My Feet Don't Touch The Ground, Down in Flames (both covered by friend Stoney Larue) and the powerful Finger on the Trigger (covered by Bleu Edmondson). Brandon Jenkins is sorely missed.
